ANN ARBOR, MI — Plans are in the works for an addition to one of downtown Ann Arbor’s most prominent historic buildings, but whether the proposal will get approval from the city’s Historic District Commission remains to be seen.

On behalf of owner A2 Curtis LLC, David Nims of Hobbs and Black Architects presented plans last week for a three-story addition to the one-story building that houses the Pretzel Bell restaurant at the northwest corner of Main and Liberty streets.
