Authorities have released additional photos from a major cannabis bust out in Newberry Springs that resulted in several arrests and numerous charges from the San Bernardino County District Attorney's office.

The press conference streamed on YouTube and held by the San Bernardino County District Attorney revealed that the original search warrant of the Newberry Springs property dates back to 2020.

Officials detail that the 5-acre property was then sold in September of that year and in March 2021, the land was searched again by authorities. Only this time police discovered a container box on the property. When they opened the storage container it revealed an open floor that went underground into a bunker.

Officials say the length of the bunker was 230 feet in length and 60 feet in width. Authorities say over 30 storage containers were used to construct the underground operation. The discovery was 15 feet underground. Around 6,000 marijuana plants were discovered.
